Again our village is seemingly ravaged by the sea...

I am sorry for not being able to connect with our village and its seemingly present situation! It is unfortunate that i come to know of it through our friends' mails, though somehow i come into contact with our people and those from our neighbourhood.

'A friend in need is a friend indeed.' As such our people may need our help the most at such times. However, whatever we can collect and give, that won't be of much value at such times. So, i too would like to subscribe the position of Fr. Lucian. Whatever we could collect, that could be utilized for some better causes as it is the government which has to care of such emegencies.

Hope, that you all know that Fr. Russel Ignatius was transferred from our village and Fr. Gerard D has taken charge as our new Parish Priest. While welcoming the new Parish Priest with all enthusiasm and much hope, let us not forget to thank Fr. Russel for his service to our village for the past few years and wish him well in his future ministry wherever he is. The new Parish Priest is from Adimalathurai and presently he is coming from the Parish of Kochuthura near Puthiyathura.

Let us work together with this new Priest for the welfare and development of our village and the preservation of our culture, heritage and history.

I am trying to enlist some of our friends here to contribute to the website and otherwise.
